Form one selection 2024 – Kujiunga Kidato cha kwanza 2024

TAMISEMI officially released the form one selection 2023 list for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) candidates to join the public secondary schools for the academic year of 2024/2025 across Tanzania. This comes after NECTA announced the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) 2023 examination results that were conducted by students.

The Minister of State for the Office of the President, Regional Administrations and Local Governments (Tamisemi) Mohamed Mchengerwa has announced the names of students selected to join the first form in various Government schools in the country for the academic year 2024.

The names include students selected to study in boarding, special, and full-time secondary schools of the Government.

Mchengerwa has instructed the Heads of Regions, Districts, and Directors of all Councils in the country to ensure that all students selected to join day schools report to school by January 8, 2024, while those selected to boarding schools are required to report by January 6, 2024.

The minister said this today Sunday, December 17, 2023, in the city of Mwanza when he spoke to journalists.

What Is Form One Selection 2024 Tanzania?

Form one selection are list of candidates selected to join different government Secondary schools. It’s only for students who passed The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) that was announced by NECTA. The students selected are those with a pass grade average from A to C.

Form One Selection 2024

Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE)
This is a selection test that enables the government to select from one entry for its schools. Students who get selected and those who do not, receive certificates.

The objectives of PSLE

The objectives of PSLE are to assess learners’ skills and knowledge gained in the different subjects at the primary school level; to assess learners’ understanding of the basic skills and abilities in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and the extent to which they can use such skills in solving pertinent problems in life; and identify learners with the capacity to continue with secondary education and other training institutions.
